Glasgow City Council Welcome to St Paul’s (Whiteinch) Primary RC School

Latest News

On Friday 28th September, we were entertained by a group of Osiligi warriors from Kenya. There were 6 male warriors and 2 ladies, who told us about their culture, performed songs and dances and a re-enactment of a hunting trip. One of the warriors, who is very good at mimicing the calls of many of the birds and animals in the jungle, gave a very loud and entertaining mimic of a hyena.

Some pupils, and even some staff members, including Mr Hardie, were invited to join them in some of their dances.

Look in the gallery and you will see some of the photos from this very entertaining display.
